C'est la Vie is a 1966 Charlie Morgan 34.

Her home port is Everglades City, FL. Our typical cruising area is Southwest Florida, the Florida Keys, the Southeastern Atlantic Seaboard, and the Bahamas. We are C'est la Vie's third owners and purchased her in 2005. We continue to maintain and update this classic vessel. All work and no play - winter 2011 on Sunset Island

Anne and I have stayed a bit too busy this winter.  C'est la Vie was only left the dock once since our mid December return to Everglades City.

We are beginning to see a light at the end of the winter tunnel.  I began work on repairing our companionway steps - here is a link to images from the project - Repair Companionway Stairs.  Our season here in FL will conclude after the first week of April.  We will be working for Outward Bound out of Beaufort, NC this summer.  Our season in the OBX starts on May 10.  This gives us about a month of playtime to move C'est la Vie from her winter home in Everglades City to Beaufort, NC. Looks like we will skip the Dry Tortugas this spring, but each season of work brings us closer to cutting the dock lines for an extended cruise.
