C'est la Vie is a 1966 Charlie Morgan 34.

Her home port is Everglades City, FL. Our typical cruising area is Southwest Florida, the Florida Keys, the Southeastern Atlantic Seaboard, and the Bahamas. We are C'est la Vie's third owners and purchased her in 2005. We continue to maintain and update this classic vessel. Home Sweet Home!

Thanks to a great deal of luck with tides we made record time around the inland side of Marco and Goodland. We cleared Coon Key and re-entered the Ten Thousand Island around 14:30.  Our winds had veered more westerly so we were able to motor sail along the outside of keys. We turned in Indian Key Pass around 16:00 and rode a flooding tide into Sunset Island.

Two weeks and four hours after our departure from Beaufort NC we had C'est la Vie tied into her dock and a cool beer in our hands.

Thanks to Bud for his willingness to take his time to assist as crew and share the adventure.

  4. I've been following the blog for a while - because I'm obsessed with Morgan 34s - and have been reading long enough to notice that someone who is selling their Morgan in Texas is using a picture of your boat in their ad: http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/boa/2849383768.html

  7. BosunJ,

We are C'est la Vie's third owner. The second owner installed the bowsprit, the aluminum slotted toe rails, and the hull rub rails. The bowsprit design & construction is excellent, but I am unable to provide you any info on manufacturer or cost. I can provide you with measurements if you are interested.
